TRT HR Working Group Meeting

TRT HR Working Group Meeting

On August 19, TRT held an HR workshop at the Inclusion Factory.

Wang Li, Project and Development Manager from Inclusion Factory, and her colleagues took us on a tour to give us a glimpse into the daily lives of the intellectual disabilities at Inclusion Factory and their extraordinary stories. Wang Li introduced to us that the Inclusion Group was established based on the German “Lebenshilfe” model. Their objective was to create a sustainable framework that uses employment to help people with disability to be included in our society. The most significant barrier to promoting the inclusion of people with disabilities is not accessibility, but rather the attitudes of society toward those with disabilities. In order t tackle this immense barrier, they have established the “Social Inclusion Academy” to change the societal perception to see capabilities instead of disabilities, and opportunities instead of threats through our Disability Equality Awareness Seminars, they influence people’s attitudes and attitudes towards people with disabilities; through our Transition Program, they empower graduates with intellectual disabilities to smoothly and successfully enter the workplace; through the Train the Trainer Program, they provide companies with an internal coach that will further support the training and development of people with disabilities in their organization.

Staff from the Director of Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of THIDZ explained to us the latest policy on the protection of talent flats in Taicang THIDZ onsite and discussed with us the challenges of recruiting blue-collar workers in the second half of the year(More related policies can follow the THIDZ Official Account ).
