TRT May GM Meeting
On 16 May, TRT held a general meeting for its members at Chiron Machine Tools (Taicang) Co., Ltd.
Firstly, Mr. Wilhelm Anton Riester from Chiron Machine Tools (Taicang) Co., Ltd., met with the attendees and introduced Chiron.
Then, the guest speaker, Mr. Liao Yu, gave a presentation on the theme of 'China's outlook for 2025: renewable energy and liberalisation opportunities'. He shared his insights on global and Chinese carbon neutrality trends, market liberalisation and the opportunities and challenges of the new energy industry.
He first emphasized that, in the context of global climate pressure, China must accelerate its transition to a low-carbon economy, as outlined in the '3060' policy (carbon peak by 2030 and carbon neutrality by 2060). He then analysed the marketisation of reform and the opportunities for new energy.
In his concluding remarks, China's energy transition has entered the 'marketisation 3.0' phase, where users are both consumers and producers of energy, or 'prosumers'. She called on businesses to use digital technology to build real-time, two-way interactive energy systems and seize new opportunities under the 'dual carbon' target.
After the meeting, the attendees followed Mr. Wilhelm Anton Riester and toured the factory to gain a better understanding of Chiron. After the meeting.
