TRT Operation Workshop

On April 25th, TRT held an Operations Seminar at the Taicang Enterprise Service Center.
We invited Mr. Lucas Bretz, General Manager of Suzhou Silk Road Manufacturing Technology Service Co., Ltd. and his colleague Mr. Merlin Korth to discuss 'Value Stream Simulation for Cost Savings in Manufacturing'. The seminar was designed to help EHS teams understand the application of value stream simulation and digital twin technology in the manufacturing industry, and to explore its potential value in the area of environmental, health and safety management.
Mr. Merlin Korth focuses on the application of value stream simulation and digital twin technology in manufacturing industry, mainly including:
-The limitations of traditional static value stream mapping and the need for simulation tools for dynamic modeling;
The simulation system has the advantages of low risk, low cost, reproducibility, and supports multi-scenario analysis and optimization;
-AnyLogic has outstanding performance in mainstream simulation software, which is suitable for complex modeling and visualization;
-Practical cases show that simulation technology can significantly improve productivity (e.g. WIP reduction, cycle time reduction);
Digital Twin builds a “digital mirror” that is synchronized with the physical system through real-time data updates, enabling continuous optimization;
-The model validation mechanism guarantees accuracy, and the extended application scenarios cover investment evaluation, automation programs, control strategy comparison, etc;
-The technology trend is evolving from static analysis to real-time digital twin system, which is an important support for intelligent manufacturing transformation.
-This sharing session systematically introduces the successful practice of value stream simulation and digital twin technology in manufacturing cost reduction and efficiency, and inspires us to explore the application path of new technology in EHS management.
