On September 4, TRT hosted a HR Workshop meeting at member company TRUMPF (China) Co., Ltd.
The workshop invited Ms. Yang Miao, Senior Partner of Jiangsu Celin Law Firm, as the keynote speaker. She delivered an in-depth presentation titled ‘Interpretation of the Supreme People’s Court’s Judicial Interpretation (II) on Labor Disputes and Responses in Employment and Human Resources Management’ for attending corporate HR managers, legal professionals, and industry experts.
During the two-hour presentation, Attorney Yang systematically analyzed the core provisions and legislative intent of the Supreme People's Court's Judicial Interpretation (II) on Labor Disputes. Drawing on extensive practical experience, she provided accessible explanations on current hotspots and challenges in corporate employment management. Key topics covered included ‘mixed employment practices’, ‘social insurance contribution obligations’, ‘handling labor relations involving foreign nationals’, ‘determining circumstances where labor contracts cannot be continued’, and ‘non-compete clauses and confidentiality obligations’.
Attorney Yang not only clarified the legal provisions' implications but also emphasized the new regulations' impact on daily HR management. She offered practical risk prevention and compliance strategies to help enterprises navigate complex labor environments, effectively mitigate legal risks, and foster harmonious labor relations.
Following the presentation, an enthusiastic Q&A session ensued. Attendees actively posed questions, engaging in in-depth discussions with Attorney Yang regarding specific legal challenges encountered in their work. The workshop featured frequent interactions and a vibrant academic atmosphere. The seminar, characterized by its detailed content and strong practical relevance, received unanimous praise from participants.
