Taicang Middle School Students' Winter Vacation Study Program Ends Successfully!

On January 20th and 21st, Taicang Admission Office and Student Development Guidance Center organized and Taicang Roundtable co-organized the two-day 'Winter Vacation Study Activity of Taicang Middle School Students', which was successfully held. During the two-day activity, students were led out of the classroom, into the enterprises and exhibition halls to experience the unique charm of scientific and technological innovation and Sino-German cultural exchanges, and spent a full and meaningful winter vacation time. Sixty students from different middle schools attended this activity.
At the first stop of the activity, the students visited Taicang Sino-German Achievement Exhibition Center to learn about the development history of the “Hometown of German Enterprise” and to experience the fruitful results of Taicang’s opening up to the outside world and Sino-German cooperation.
Afterwards, the students walked into TRUMPF China, observed the advanced production line and intelligent manufacturing process closely, and felt the innovative power of high-tech enterprises. The charm of science and technology amazed everyone and inspired them to think more about their future career development.
During the lunch, members of the Zorn family business in Germany had a relaxing Sino-German cultural exchange with the students. Both sides shared their food culture and living habits, and the students broadened their international horizons and deepened their interest in cross-cultural communication during the interaction.
In the afternoon, the students went into the Inclusion Factory to learn how the special workshop promoted by the Sino-German cooperation provides employment and life support for people with disabilities. This vivid lesson on social responsibility gave the students a new understanding of tolerance and multiculturalism.
In addition, the team building and handicraft practice sessions were also rewarding, not only practicing teamwork, but also feeling the sense of accomplishment brought by creativity.
This winter vacation study tour helped students open their horizons, inspire their thinking, and accumulate valuable learning experiences for their future growth.
