On the evening of January 14, 2026, TRT successfully hosted its inaugural General Manager Conference of the year at Schindler Tankstelle restaurant.

Centered on the theme ‘Outlook for Year 2026’, the conference was chaired by Mr. Richard Zhang, Chairman of TRT, and featured four distinguished guests participating in a roundtable discussion to explore economic trends and corporate development opportunities for the new year. The distinguished panelists included: Mr. Christian Sommer, CEO & Chairman of German Centre for Industry and Trade Shanghai Co. Ltd; Mr. Tomas Herman, Deputy General Manager of Brose Taicang Automotive Systems Co., Ltd; Mr. Philipp Zorn, General Manager of Zorn Mobile Turbo Technology Co., Ltd; and Mr. James Wu, General Manager of Inclusion Factory.

During the nearly two-hour in-depth dialogue, the guests exchanged views on hot topics including the global economic environment, challenges in localized operations, supply chain resilience, green transformation, and talent strategies. At the conclusion of the discussion, each guest wrote down their core expectations for 2026—conveying confidence and vision for the continued prosperity of the German business ecosystem in Taicang. We will jointly reveal the answers at the end of 2026.

In addition to the thematic forums, this conference also unveiled the TRT 2026 annual event schedule and welcomed member companies to register for participation.
